MaKayla Vallot is the Founder and Executive Director of Artistry In Motion Studio, a multidisciplinary dance studio based in Fayetteville, Georgia. A Fayetteville native and graduate of Fayette County High School, Makayla's journey in the arts began as a child after being introduced to dance through her church. Her passion for movement quickly expanded into a lifelong commitment to the performing arts, leading her to train extensively throughout the Atlanta area while also participating in chorus, theatre, and band throughout her academic career.
Over the years, Makayla has trained with renowned organizations and artists including Kimmestry Dance Company, Alvin Ailey Extension, Breaking Barriers Intensive, ATLA Connect, and Xcel Talent Agency. Her performance credits span stage, television, film, music videos, corporate events, and theatrical productions, including appearances on P-Valley (Starz), the Southern Black Girls x Pete & Thomas Foundation "Joy Is Our Journey" Tour, and numerous showcases and community events across the Southeast. In addition to performing, she has built an impressive portfolio as a choreographer, instructor, and creative director, working with schools, dance programs, competitive teams, and professional showcases throughout Georgia.
In 2026, Makayla completed the Business Essentials Program at Spelman College, further equipping her with the tools to turn her vision into reality. She founded Artistry In Motion Studio with the belief that the arts should be accessible, transformative, and community-centered. More than a dance studio, A.I.M. was created as a space where dancers, actors, musicians, artists, performers, and creatives of all backgrounds can develop their artistry, build confidence, and find meaningful opportunities to grow.
Through Artistry In Motion, Makayla is committed and aiming towards investing in the next generation of artists while creating a lasting impact throughout Fayetteville and the greater Southside community she proudly calls home.
