Bring the energy, precision, and performance power of the HBCU danceline tradition to the studio in this Open Level HBCU Danceline / Majorette class for ages 16 and up. Inspired by the electrifying styles seen on collegiate sidelines and in the stands, dancers will develop technique, stamina, flexibility, musicality, and performance quality while learning dynamic choreography rooted in HBCU culture. This class explores the fundamentals of majorette dance, including powerful movements, sharp execution, confidence, showmanship, and audience engagement. Dancers will be challenged to command the floor while embracing the spirit, sisterhood, and cultural legacy that make HBCU danceline and majorette styles so impactful.
